Right after "diplomacy" failed - Apsat, Tortle Blood Hunter Fighter and Rin, Tiefling Warlock.

Apsat is with a sturdy build, using a sharpened shovel for a weapon, which he activates with his blood. He carries a scarf over his mouth and is otherwise a shy and slightly awkward individual, letting Rin do the talking, but in battle he is fearsome opponent, using blood magic and potions he has brewed himself to terrifying efficiency.

Rin is the lost child of a noble family, with barely any memories left from before his shattering and being put back together by a benevolent fey creature - the origin of the golden kintsugi-like cracks over his whole body. Usually preferring the paths of charming his enemies, he is mostly terrified whenever an actual battle breaks out, hiding behind his closest ally Apsat and preferring to assist with his magic from a safe distance.

At this point I laid down some of the colors, and looked up reference for how I want the turtle to look.

This was my first finished drawing on Procreate, and I was trying to figure out the differences in brishes and feeling from ClipStudio. I was used to smoother brushes, but here I found the joys of pencil textures.
